I’d be willing to bet that the hot bath, some Dramamine, and some tylenol would provide great relief. This would be a good night-time remedy. During the day, you could do the same but substitute Dramamine with Dramamine 2 (or Bonine) to combat drowsiness.
At the very least, it shouldn’t screw up the medication he is taking, or any treatment the doctor gives him. You should be able to find lots of info about chamomile on line.

I have a container of JuicyJuice. It’s the kind that comes in a cylindar shaped can and is orange-tangerine flavor. The label says it has 31 grams of sugar per serving, but the label also says that it has no added sugar. Is all that sugar actually from the oranges and tangerines in the drink?
