7 Simple Exercises for Weight Loss on Holidays

In my previous posting about weight loss program (see “5 Secret of Natural Remedies for Weight Loss“), exercise is one of important factors to burn unnecessary fat in your body, as well as to maintain a balance weight and massage your internal organs at the same time. Furthermore, it can add your energy and refresh your mind and body.
It is just like an Indonesian proverb, “Sekali merengkuh dayung, dua tiga pulau terlampaui.” Literally translated as, “One stroke at the paddle, two and three islands have passed.” It means, do multiple tasks at one go. In this case, with a regular exercise, it can have multi benefit for your overall health. Home remedies or natural remedies cannot stand alone without exercise or doing work out. Thus, it is acknowledged as holistic remedies to any ailments and specifically to prevent any diseases.
When people hear the term of “exercise”, they often associated with heavy or delicate, expensive and not practical things to do to shape their body. In fact, you can found many daily routine things that are simple and already be the part of your life. Moreover, they can serve as your exercise. Be creative and you will be surprised for the amazing result.
For instance, [1] if you usually go to work or shopping by driving a car or ride a bus, you can start by riding a bike. [2] The habitual of parking your car near office, you can try a bit far so that you can walk longer and it is good for you as exercise. Do these step by step as you park further far from your office. [3] Elevator or lift can be replaced by using stairs. Even stairs are so useful to maintain your healthy life style naturally and based on a study it is equal as doing aerobic exercise.
[4] If you usually get things done for your household with a steady motion, try to make them faster with listening to a cheerful and rhythmic song, like disco music. Sweeping and mopping the floor can be so joyful and fun. [5] Clean up your room and sort out your paper or documents with faster movement. Do not forget to control your breath. Also, set up your mood by having fun doing them will release your tension and stress.
Last but not least, by having pet around you at home, can really amuse you during hardship and they can make you smile or laugh. The good thing is that they even can accompany you during your work out or exercise. [6] In early morning while enjoying the sun comes out, you can take a walk with your dog around the neighborhood. Sometimes, a cat can also accompany you as well by using a leash, but it depends entirely on the character of your cat and at what age they have been started to train using leash.
[7] There is another way if you are not able to take a walk with your cat. Cats love to play with moving object and running wild chasing it. I usually use a long string to attract their attention and make myself walk fast or run around the house. Surely they love to chase me because I’m using that string to get their attention. Thus, it can make you enough sweat even only for half an hour. Besides fun, your cats will be happy because they can play with you. Yes, naturally cats love to play because they have the necessity to practice their natural hunting skills. In this case, you can pretend yourself as your cats’ prey.
