There are other natural ways besides using some herbs and spices to treat and cure your insomnia. Meditation or even just a simple relaxation, lying down on mat posing a like a corpse and put your both hands besides your body while listening to meditation or new age music from YouTube, can also a natural way to heal you restless sleep at night. Let yourself enjoy to wave sounds in the beach and the birds chirp in the morning when you wake up, is good for your soul and mind to release your restless thoughts, which is suspected as the major cause of your insomnia.
There is a research conducted by James W. Pennebaker, if you are having difficulties to sleep, do not count the sheep. Being worry and depression are the indication that you are having insomnia. Your wild minds are wondering around in your sub-conscience.

Honey is an excellent remedy for insomnia. Drinking a cup of hot water with a tsp or two of honey in it 1/2 hour before going to bed will help you sleep naturally! Safe and effective and non-habit forming!
