The Myth About Hangover Remedies
Filed Under (Natural Cure, Natural Remedies) by Eri on 28-09-2009
Hangover remedies are a number one searched thing by an average drinker. People have tried a majority of different cures for a hangover but they can’t seem to find out what it is that stop a hangover in it’s tracks.
What are the causes of a hangover? How can I treat a hangover after I have gotten one and are there any ways to prevent hangovers?
Hangover remedies are a subject of great importance to many people. Yet, it seems not everyone understands what a hangover is. The common hangover is caused by over drinking alcohol. That is something everyone knows though. What everyone doesn’t know is that the symptoms of a hangover are caused by dehydration and a lack of essential minerals in the body.
The first tip I have to give about hangovers is that you should be consuming a lot of liquids. I don’t mean more alcohol! Alcohol is a diuretic and it causes your body to urinate and perspire all of your body’s largest necessity! This necessity is water. That is why when you drink you have to urinate so often! It is not just the alcohol your body is dispelling but also water along with it. With the lack of water you get dehydration and with dehydration you get headaches, diarrhea, and many other symptoms!
Thew nest tip I have is to eat a filling breakfast as soon as you wake up in the morning. This is because your body has also been losing a lot of minerals on your drinking binge. These account for a lot of symptoms as well such as fatigue and sensitivity to light.

That is my advice for hangover remedies! Make sure to drink plenty of liquids and stay well nourished and you should be set to combat hangovers! Drinking a little less might work as well!

If you had consumed the alcohol with some food in the first place, you really shouldn’t have to worry about hangovers as far as I’m concerned.
Get some vitamin B, this will replenish some of what the whiskey has taken out of his system. Also have him eat something and drink lots of non-alcoholic beverages.
