Get Rid Of Hangover Problems Naturally

Filed Under (Natural Cure, Natural Remedies) by Eri on 21-10-2009

Get rid of hangover problems naturally and safely through home-grown remedies and recipes. Pretty much anyone who has had a time of it the night before can relate a story about waking up with headaches and queasy stomachs, at minimum. Because of this, people have searched for any kind of hangover remedy they can find, and have packed their bodies with over-the-counter medicinals on many an occasion.

Generally speaking, too much of some laboratory-made substance can never be ultimately good for us. As a result of this growing awareness, there are plenty of people out there looking to avoid pharmaceuticals and are casting about for ways to cure many of the common illnesses we have through natural substances that our bodies have evolved over the millennia to make good use of.

Get rid of hangover problems naturally and safely, of course, which is actually easier than most people would believe. For example, it’s possible to grow many of these potentially restorative or curative plants and such right in our backyard gardens or buy them from organic and health food stores. Combinations of such plants can be greatly effective against a hangover.

Natural remedies are those remedies that have been created through combining and mixing together plants and other natural substances such as herbs, flowers and parts of trees that, when combined, can produce a substance that acts much like a laboratory-made pharmaceutical. The difference is that these substances are completely natural and safe. Aloe is one example.

For the most part, the hardest thing to do in all of this is the growing of such plants or flowers and then the mixing together according to well-developed recipes that have been time-tested and proven. There are plenty of kits and recipe books out there that make the whole process extremely easy to carry off.

Nowadays, it’s no longer the case that we have to rely solely on over-the-counter medications and prescription drugs. For a fact, many of these medications can build up to toxic levels in our bodies over time and produce a side effect that can be worse, in many cases, then the illnesses these medications were developed to help correct. Natural substances are better in almost every case.

Home Remedies For Colds Provide Effective Relief

Filed Under (Home Remedies, Natural Cure) by Eri on 14-10-2009

Home remedies for colds can be practised by anybody without having to consult a doctor. There is still no treatment for the common cold or flu and therefore more people are turning to home remedies to alleviate their symptoms. Over the counter drugs do not “treat” colds but merely minimise the discomfort and longevity.

You should stay well hydrated during a cold by consuming a lot of water which keeps your respiratory system hydrated, which in turn helps to liquefy thick mucus. Chicken soup, grandmother’s famous remedy, is a potent mucus stimulant and really works. It is also nutritious and may also increase the movement of disease-fighting white blood cells.

Home remedies for colds can also be found in most kitchen cupboards. Honey, taken in a warm beverage will dilute mucus. Mustard stimulates circulation and the flow of mucus and fights infection. Vitamin C is very beneficial especially in liquids which also help to rehydrate. Lemons are highly acidic which means that the mucous membranes are less attractive to bacteria and viruses. Lemon oil is helpful in fighting infection. Pepper is very effective as it clears the phlegmatic build up in the sinuses. Thyme tea can be drunk as its oil has antiseptic properties.

Garlic seems to shorten a cold’s duration and severity and onion is a close to garlic biologically and contains many similar antiviral chemicals. You can use onions and garlic in soups or other dishes when you have a cold to boost your immune system. Ginger has an antioxidant effect, as well as an anti-inflammatory effect and an inhalation steam bath or ginger tea are popular cold remedies.

Lady’s fingers, bitter gourd, chilli, cayenne, turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, tamarind, aniseed, echinacea and goldenseal, andrographis and catnip are other vegetables, herbs and spices which can be used to lessen the severity of colds and the flu.

Home Remedies for Colds

Rest is essential when you have a cold because it lets your body concentrate on fighting any infections. Being too active weakens your defences. Water is also of paramount importance; whether it is simply drinking, gargling with salt water or inhaling steam from an infusion of helpful herbs or ingredients like ginger, peppermint or eucalyptus oil to help you breathe. In cold temperatures humidifying your rooms to add moisture to the air can be beneficial too.

Home remedies for colds are becoming more popular as there is no cure in sight for the common cold or flu. We’ve got the inside scoop to effective cold home remedies now on http://www.GrowARemedy.com/

Filed Under (Natural Cure, Natural Remedies) by Eri on 06-05-2009

Be noted this time, we’ve got exciting post contributed by Ari Lestariono. It is his own experience in using herbal for natural cure and maintain healthy living. Let’s hear below what he wishes to point out for you.

Did you know that Celery (Apium graveolens), considered as part of veggie family has the natural cure ability for several ailments, for instance:

1. High blood pressure

2. Fatigue Eyes

3. Rheumatic

If you regularly apply vegetables and fruits for your daily intake, would be the best way to prevent illness and disease before they hit you. Vegetables and fruits play significant role to boost your immune system. Celery is considered as herbal remedies, therefore they are good to keep you being cool, calm and self-control. In other words, to prevent you from being high intense, or avoid the possibility of high blood pressure.

Last week I had an interview job and I did not know what would be the interview atmosphere turn out, but I prepare myself. It turn out to be a tough interview on subject Sales and Marketing in Oil and Gas Industry.

The first 10 minutes was the introductions of myself, the consecutive hours were turn out in an sword play interview, between myself and interviewer were observing, learning, finding loop holes to capture or seize any weakness point, covering my hole points as he also try to take manuveur with soft spoken words. If I did not carefully answered, could became a fatal or boomerang, and suddenly checkmate.

Luckily before the tough interview I consumed celery by boiling a water, add celery, wait for few minutes, stirred it sometimes and turn off the stove. I waited a while to get it cool down a bit so I could drink it warmly enough in a glass. After drink it, celery has the capability to make you cool and calm, plus very centered and focus. I believe, it can drove away your anxiety, negative emotions, tension, etc.

I have experimented it and consume this celery since 2001, when I have a high blood pressure problem due to stress at work. After going to a doctor and given precsription, and found out that didn’t work effectively, I started looking ways to cure blood pressure, and I receive recoommendations from my elder relatives to consume celery, and it works best for me ever since, with practicing meditation on lotus position.

As also mentioned by a doctor who specialized as herbalist in a seminar on herbs benefits, consuming vegetables and fruits should be on daily basis. Never wait untill you get sick! Taking prevention using herbal is the key of success for your healthy living. Prevention is the mother of necessity.

At the end  of interview he seems satisfied with my answers and responses  that triggered like bullets coming out of machine guns, and promised me for second round interview with the Vice President of Company handling Eastern Hemisphere.

Ok guys, please try and give me your thoughts.

Soybeans, Healthy Alternative Meat Substitution

Filed Under (Natural Cure, Natural Remedies) by Eri on 04-05-2009

Do you like to include soybeans in your daily intake?

Long time ago, cultivation of soybeans was limited only to China, but gradually spread to other countries. From about the first century AD to the Age of Discovery (15-16th century), soybeans were introduced into several countries such as Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Burma, Taiwan, Nepal and India. This spread was due to the establishment of sea and land trade routes, such as “Silk Road”.

Soybeans are an important source of vegetable oil and protein world wide. Soy products are the main ingredients in many meat and dairy substitutes. Therefore, if you are vegetarian, soybeans is your answer to replace meat and dairy products.

Soybeans can be broadly classified as “vegetable” (garden) or field (oil) types. Vegetable type’s cook more easily, have a mild nutty flavor, better texture, are larger in size, higher in protein, and lower in oil than field types. They are also used to make soy sauce, tempe and tofu in above mentioned countries.

Based on research by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Boston, USA, soybeans can lower your blood pressure. It is also recommended for women having menopause and people with high blood pressure. Soybeans has more benefits for your healthy living. Do keep coming back to Our Home Remedies for further exciting details about soybeans.

Paprika as Home Remedies

Filed Under (Home Remedies, Natural Cure) by Eri on 07-04-2009

LET FOOD BE YOUR MEDICINE AND MEDICINE BE YOUR FOOD!

I just came across to a site explained that Paprika in English is Bell Pepper. I’m sure with the image in previous posting, you already knew it and try several times this kind of food as part of your daily meals.

Let’s check it out further benefits having paprika in our meals.

-        Rich in antioxidant vitamin C.

-        Helps to fight off colds, asthma, bronchitis, respiratory infections, cataracts, macular degeneration, angina, atherosclerosis and cancer.

Further tips

There are more than just the red and yellow colours at the market. Check the labels carefully to ensure that you are about to purchase the flavour you most desire for your recipe:

Semisweet: has a very light and almost matte colour. Fairly hot and spicy.

Sweet: a deep colour that is somewhat mild and coarse in texture.

Mild: has an airy red colour, fragrant and mildly hot.

Delicatess: a powdery red that releases a delicious aroma when heated.

Rose paprika: packed with flavour (slightly hot) and has a very lovely rosey colour.  Rose paprika is a Hungarian speciality.

Hot: from a sandy brown red to a sun-lit yellow you can expect a very hot flavour.

Paprika, can’t live without it

Recipe

If you have never incorporated paprika within your recipes or haven’t had the pleasure of tasting it and would like to give it a shot, try this simple recipe at home to get started:

Ingredients

4 large russet potatoes
1/4 cup of extra virgin oil (dark)
Salt and pepper to taste
Your preferred flavoured paprika from your local market

Cooking Directions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Wash the potatoes thoroughly.  Feel free to keep the skin intact or peel partially/entirely.  Cut the potatoes to a desired size. The thinner you cut them, the crispier they will become during baking.

Add foil to a shallow metal baking pan. Coat it with olive oil to prevent sticking.  Sprinkle the salt and pepper (optional). Add the potatoes in a single file - do not overlap. Pour the remaining oil over the potatoes. Sprinkle a very light amount of paprika over the well oiled potatoes.

Place the baking sheet into the oven and bake the potatoes for roughly 30 minutes. Remove the sheet, flip the potatoes over and add an additional desired amount of paprika to preserve fresh flavour.

Heat for an additional 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Keep in mind the varying heating times are according to different ovens, so keep an eye on the potatoes every 10 minutes or so to prevent over baking.

Depression Treatment: Tricks & Tips

Filed Under (Holistic Remedies, Natural Cure) by Eri on 30-03-2009

This wonderful post is a contribution from Ari Lestariono based on his own experience. Thanks Ari for sharing your tactics on depression treatment as holistic remedies.

Here we go.

Do you live in a house near the main street?

I bet you often experience the noise from the hectic vehicles everyday. This can make you depression due to the noisy sound above normal level.

Posted in YouTube by airman001

If you happen to live at a house or residence near big street, or your residence is in front of Main Street as I do, the noise of traffic almost 20 hours a day would increase your depression, find the symptoms on how you are increasing the depressions.

  1. Your head is about to explode.
  2. Mood changes quickly, it’s like mood swing
  3. Blood pressure tends to boils
  4. Becoming easy on irritating.

The solution is not moving your house, if you can not afford to but being adaptive to the noise and treat them as harmony music in your life rhythm as we were doing meditations, this kind of exercise will neutralize the effect on the symptoms above. Please try as you will first feel a little bit uneasy when you go to a vacation on mountain and since the quiet silence that you may not hear every day, that was the author feeling.

cat
Noisy? says who

Subsequently you notice that you become one with the noise, by practicing meditation to adapt the worst situation in your life is not easy, after doing it you will know that this will make your life healthier, by the way there is no perfect conditions in this life, since we all know we are not living in a perfect world, are you just “doing” or “being” in this life will depend on your daily activity.

Now let’s get back on living relax on noisy atmosphere, one thing you can do is have a pet a cat or dog, will reduce your noisy stress. If by any chance you are the kind of persons that working at home as away of life, having a pet is a good way to overcoming that mood swing.

Drink water on 8 - 10 glass daily to keep fresh, exercise on jogging or skipping.

Or you can do the installing the wall acoustic and put Air Conditions as this will reduce noise although not completely gone. Please have a try and let me know what you think

Do you know pet has the ability to detect illness?

Filed Under (Holistic Remedies, Natural Cure) by Eri on 24-03-2009

As I have shared my little secret to you that I am a cat lover, I came across an article that in Canada, there is a cat who managed to alert its owner, to lung cancer. Do you remember my previous posting, A Cat’s Purr: as a natural way to heal human? Our pet is a wonderful natural healer, not only they are able to heal us naturally, yet at the same time they have the ability to detect which part of our body that has that particular illness.

funny pictures of cats with captions
I detect!! Where does your illness lie…

Let’s hear the flip of the story below.

A Canadian house cat not known for being affectionate is being credited with alerting its owner in Calgary, Alberta, about a cancerous tumor in his lung. Lionel Adams, 59, told the Calgary Sun his 8-year-old orange tabby called Tiger began some unusual behavior late last summer.

“He would climb into bed and take his paw and drag it down my left side — he was adamant there was something there,” Adams told the Sun. “And it was right where the cancer was.”

Surgeons subsequently removed a tumor the size of a soda can, he said.

“I think if he hadn’t done the pawing part it could have gone on for another five, six months undetected,” he said.

From recent studies, many pet owners have reported pets can have a sixth sense when knowing when something is wrong. Moreover, the interface of human with nature and animals, has a significant influence for natural cure for us, especially if we undergo some illness and need complementary healing methods for our immediate recovery. Thus, it can be said as holistic remedies.

So, is there still any doubt to embrace our lovely nature and have a wonderful pet?

The good news is regularly drink green tea aid your weight loss program and helps you reach balance weight in the long term. It is common knowledge that green tea contains high anti oxidant flavonoid type. Thus, it serves to diminish free radicals in your body. They are extremely dangerous to your health.

Above all, the greatest news is, a recent study from The American Journal of Food Biochemistry has found out the antioxidant in green tea also functions to control the blood sugar level in normal line and diabetes patients type 2.

If you drink green tea after meals, the antioxidants in green tea will constraint the sudden increase of blood sugar level. Based on that research, black tea and oolong tea also have similar roles in your body. Hence, diabetes type 2 patients are able to control their blood sugar level by drinking tea and doing exercises or work out thrice a week. And although I am a tea fans, that doesn’t make me drinking tea excessively because I believe everything should be carry out moderately according to what our body needs. Twice a day to drink a cup of tea is sufficient, and the rest I try to drink only water to keep my body healthy.

NATURAL TREATMENT FOR PATCHY BALDNESS

1. The most valuable of these remedies is the seeds of lime and black pepper, ground together to get a fine paste. This paste applied on the patches, has a mildly irritant action. This increases blood circulation to the affected area and stimulates hair growth. This paste should be applied twice a day, for a few weeks.

2. The paste of liquorices, made by grinding the pieces in milk with a pinch of saffron, is another valuable remedy for patchy baldness. This paste should be applied over the bald patches at night before going to bed.
